Sorry I didn’t listen to you from the start, but I was all caught up in that “I can change things for the better” nonsense. We had a good run, though. We had some laughs. I feel bad for the people who are still there, though – despite my lack of income, the stress-induced knot in my chest and the overwhelming uncertainty about how I’ll pay rent, I really feel bad for the people who are still there. I hope the good ones are on a rescue boat when the ship finally meets the iceberg.
