Due to what can only be considered a monumental lapse of judgment on someone’s part, I’ve been invited to take part in a panel at this year’s New York Comic Con. So, since it’s the first (and, most likely, the last) time I have this distinct honor, you should take the day off and watch me commit career suicide.
Here are the details:
“Choosing the News: The Changing Face of Online Journalism”
Friday, April 18: 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Room 1E09
I will be joined by a group of industry veterans who will have far more interesting things to say and will more than make up for my ineptitude, including Matt Brady of Newsarama, Richard George of IGN, Brian Heater of The Daily Cross Hatch and Heidi MacDonald of The Beat. Seriously, though, it should be a blast. I’m looking forward to it.

Wow! Only leading industry professionals with extensive knowledge and experience get asked to sit on panels. I’m glad to see your peers are finally recognizing your editorial acumen. Way to go!
