While sifting through some of the ComicMix site referrals as I am wont to do (far too often, according to Jessica), I happened upon this little gem: YouTube user “furryisthenewedgy” put a portion of my Mark Evanier Kirby: King of Comics interview to music. Don’t worry, folks - there isn’t anything from the creepier side of the furry scene included in this video. It’s just music and text.
Granted, they were Mark’s words and not mine, but it’s always interesting to see something that you worked on be appreciated and adopted elsewhere for what seems to be a well-intentioned, creative purpose. (Though I admit, I didn’t dive that far into the user’s video library - so feel free to let me know if I’m linking to something questionable here.)
So, yes, as I twittered yesterday about this discovery, it definitely made me smile.

Hi, this is Richard de Wylfin (furryisthenewedgy) and I’m glad you like the video. . . However, what do you imagine the “questionable” material I might have in my videos to be? Something dirty??
