Finishing the last bit of prep for San Diego Comic-Con this morning, getting the cats set up with everything they’ll need for the next five days, scheduling some last-minute posts on ComicMix, and generally running through the travel day checklist.

Jessica and I are flying out around 3:30pm EST and arriving in San Diego around 6pm PST. Coast-to-coast travel always rocks my internal clock, but I’ve been staying up late here the last couple of nights in order to (hopefully) prepare myself for the time difference.

More updates likely to post via my Blackberry throughout the day, but we’ll see how that goes. It’s a six-hour flight, but I have a Joss Whedon interview (the second half of my earlier interview with Whedon) to finish transcribing, as well as an interview with the creator behind a new collection that will be announced this weekend at the show.

I also have comics to catch up on. Many of them, in fact.
