- Convention reality — Page 1 — Times Union – Albany NY – This recent editorial by the Albany, NY, daily newspaper The Times Union cracked me up. It's interesting to observe how long it's taken the publication to shift its opinion even slightly regarding the potential Albany Convention Center project. If you have a chance, make a note of the cost increases and other factors that have developed over the last few years with the project as mentioned in this editorial, then take a look at this feature I authored more than two years ago that predicts the very same developments that have seem to have shocked the TU: Convention Wisdom.
