It’s a holiday weekend here in the U.S., and no, the three-day weekend has nothing to do with Barack Obama’s speech, folks. So, since the InterTubes seem to have basically shut down today with most of America trying to enjoy a short vacation (or, in most cases, cursing at the long lines of traffic between them and their destination), my posting this weekend will be a bit light on the words and heavy on the easily embedded images and video.

For example, Gizmodo recently linked to this great video and provided an appropriately funny assessment of the Mythbusters‘ attempt at explaining the difference between single- and multicore computer processors through the use of a massive “1100-Barrel Paintball Gun” that blasted a pretty impressive version of the Mona Lisa onto a white canvas. Yes, you read that correctly. Now watch the video. It will all make sense.
