"I’ve never been concerned with inspiration. I talk to musicians about this sometimes and… their response is that they write songs when they come to them and sometimes they don’t come for three months or a year or five years or whatever, and other times they get a lot of songs. I’ve never felt that I’ve had that luxury. It’s important for me to go in each day and work and that’s how I get things done."
Watch This: Tiffany, Stalkers and the Dark Side of Fandom – Cinematical – Cinematical's Elisabeth Rappe has a really great review/analysis of "I Think We're Alone Now," the documentary about two people who "have been separately stalking 80s pop icon Tiffany for nearly 20 years." Rappe compares the mannerisms and psychology of these real-life people seen in the film w/ those of some of the cosplay and fanboy/fangirl masses – two groups with whom she's identified over the years. Fascinating stuff.
Topless Robot – Live-Action Robotech’s Max and Miriya Explain Love – HOLY CRAP, my uber-geek alert just went CRAZY… this is one of those clips that I'm almost embarassed to say I completely "get" and am quite amused by… *sigh*
