When prompted to list my favorite films, “Cool Hand Luke” always comes to mind as one of my favorite three or four movies ever made. I can watch it over and over again and still find something new to love about the film each and every time I see it — and more often than not, that new element has something to do with Paul Newman’s performance in it.
Case in point, this beautifully subtle scene:

it’s hard not to admire Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways, such as his Newman’s Own line–high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes… very smart.
