- ‘It’s Like A Casino For Children’ | MTV – Paul Rudd Rough Cut – Josh Horowitz interviews Paul Rudd in the Dave & Busters here in Manhattan. Hilarity ensues. Seriously. Rudd breaks the Skee Ball machine and they both end up inside a massive claw machine, surrounded by stuffed animals for the interview. The only thing that could make this any better is if Steven Seagal popped up from the stuffed animals. Now THAT would have been awesome.

- Creepy Skittles ad – Entertainment Videos | thevine.com.au – Yeah, this one is so creepy I don't even want to embed it on the site. Who thought this would be a good idea?
- Brian Alvey: Side-by-side personal electronic product comparisons – Obsessable has a great application called the comparator. The team uses it to show a grid of specs on a bunch of products and you can do some nifty things with it — but they aren't all obvious. So we made a brief video tour of the comparator.
- Comic Book Resources > Lying In The Gutters – 11-10-2008 – Wow. BEST. LITG. EVER.: "A very serious scam is being carried on a number of mid-level comics publishers.
Previously, LITG reported on how con artist Josh Hoopes had a scam going where he would show publishers artwork created by major artists, pretending it was his. The publisher would commission him for artwork at a fairly low rate, Josh would then commission the artwork from a different artist at a high rate – and then not pay them. The comic would be published, the artist would find out and demand money that had already been paid to the now elsewhere Josh Hoopes." - ICv2 – Topps Shuts Down WizKids – HeroClix was my first real foray into the hobby gaming scene, and I really enjoyed what I played of it. It's too bad that this is going down for 'em, and even worse that it seems to be a growing trend. The WizKids crew are good people, so I hope they all land on their feet.

- Attentiondeficitdisorderly Too Flat: How to read the Hellboyverse – Sean T. Collins explains how to read through the entirety of the Hellboy collections in chronological order. It's interesting to see exactly how much is out there and in canon with the universe Mike Mignola created, and in doing so, note that everything has really been able to organized as such. You actually can start with the top of this list and work your way through, and see the single, narrative thread throughout the Hellboy universe. with all of the spin-offs and such that have evolved w/ Hellboy (i.e., Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson, etc) the fact that there is a single narrative thread is just, well… awesome.

Crappy news about WizKids! I had no idea. I’m a big fan of their Pirates game, both it and HeroClix are really popular at my game store. Bummer!
