After living in this apartment for more than two years, the heating pipes suddenly began making horrible noises, as if someone was banging on them with a hammer in irregular intervals. This will last anywhere from a few minutes to almost half an hour, sometimes just once or twice in a night, sometimes (like tonight) all night. I took this video at 4am. The pipes had been clanging this way every 45min since 11pm.
