I recently realized that some scanner issues a while back prevented me from posting some of the Hunter S. Thompson sketches that were done for me by various comic book and webcomic artists over the last few years. This week I managed to scan a few more of them and add them to my online gallery.

The above sketch was by Dan Leister, who’s currently the regular artist on Hack/Slash, but I got to know way back in the day when he was working on one of his first projects — a comic titled The Sire that was written by a buddy of mine. I was one of the editors on the comic, and had a lot of fun serving on that side of the comics scene. Good times!

Many, many thanks to everyone who’s done a sketch for me so far. It’s not something I add to all that often, so it’s been great to get such awesome sketches on the rare occasions I do bring along the ol’ sketchbook. I need to remember to carry it around more often!
